Andrew Nicholas Liveris serves as Independent Director of the Company. Mr. Liveris joined Dow in 1976 and subsequently held various executive positions, including vice president of specialty chemicals from 1998 to 2000, business group president for performance chemicals from 2000 to 2003, and president and chief operating officer from 2003 to 2004. Mr. Liveris was named president and chief executive officer of Dow in 2004 and chairman in 2006. In 2016, he transitioned the president role and continued as chairman and chief executive officer of Dow until late 2017, when he transitioned to the position of executive chairman of DowDuPont, a position he held until his retirement in July 2018. Mr. Liveris is a director of WorleyParsons, Saudi Aramco and NOVONIX Limited. Additionally, Mr. Liveris served as chairman of the President’s American Manufacturing Committee and now serves as a member of the President’s Task Force on Apprenticeship Expansion. Mr. Liveris also serves as vice chairman of the Executive Committee of the Business Roundtable, and as an Executive Committee member and former chairman of The Business Council. Mr. Liveris is also a trustee of The King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), the California Institute of Technology and the United States Council for International Business (USCIB).
