Retired Vice Chairman and Chief Operating Officer for the Electrical Sector of Eaton Corporation plc, a global diversified power management company (NYSE: ETN). Mr. Gross joined Eaton in 2003 as Vice President, Eaton Business Systems, and from 2004 to 2009 served as President of Eaton’s power quality and controls business. From 2009 until his retirement in 2015, Mr. Gross served as Vice Chairman and Chief Operating Officer for Eaton’s Electrical Sector. Prior to joining Eaton, Mr. Gross held executive leadership positions with Danaher Corporation, Xycom Automation and Rockwell Automation. Mr. Gross was previously a director of WABCO Holdings Inc., a leading manufacturer of vehicle control systems (NYSE: WBC), until May 2020. Mr. Gross received his B.S. degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Wisconsin and his M.B.A. degree from the University of Michigan. The Board of Directors has determined that Mr. Gross should serve as a Director because of his extensive executive management experience at Eaton Corporation plc.
